It is hard to believe, but it has been over two years since I attended an in-person CreativeMornings event here in Dubai. Sure, I have continued to support this wonderful monthly event through running all things social media, but I have missed the in-person gatherings, and the opportunity to take the portrait of the monthly speaker. Both COVID, and my teaching schedule at Zayed University have made it near impossible for me to attend the gatherings at the fun Atölye space in Emirates Towers here in Dubai. Today, was a vibrant, passionate and invigorating start to the morning with a dynamic conversation with the talented Alex Maia of Alex House of Social.
While I will be gone for the summer, and CreativeMornings Dubai will go on hiatus until the autumn, I look forward to getting back into the swing of things and attending these in-person events, and in getting the opportunity to take portraits of the vast array of new faces that the CreativeMornings events will offer.
