Last year, I had the privilege of being invited by my former Zayed University colleague Dr. Badran Badran to speak on the topic of AI in education at Liwa College in Abu Dhabi. After giving several Zoom presentations on AI both in the UAE and the US, I was excited to finally present in person this past Friday, March 8th. However, the unexpected weather that swept through the UAE forced us to switch to Plan B, and we quickly pivoted to a virtual presentation.

XPOSURE 2024
Congratulations to my CACE colleague, Ioannis Galanopoulos Papavasileiou, on his impressive showing at XPOSURE 2024. Mateo really enjoyed seeing the work. It was great to reconnect with my old CCMS colleague, Elsayed Darwish, in the media suite, and to see the work of Yannis Kontos, one of our ZUMEFF judges, on display. Oh, and having Joel Grimes here in the UAE for the event was a pleasant surprise.
