Creative Mornings
Since moving to Dubai, I have been fortunate to connect with the creative community through the monthly Creative Mornings events held at the Nest. I have been lucky over the years to live in cities that had dynamic Creative Mornings communities - Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Mexico City. I am very happy to add Creative Mornings Dubai to this list. I have, over the oast year or so, engaged with Creative Mornings DXB on a more meaningful level. I currently support the team with social media branding/direction and by shooting post-session portraits of the speakers each and every month.

Tewnty-five years in the making
...And three years since the paperwork was started. Today, in Atlanta, GA, along with 146 people from all over this planet, I became an American citizen. My emotions were all over the place, my heart was full with happy tears filling my eyes. The future looks brighter today... if a little blurry due to the happy tears.

Rebirth
A friend and makeup artist here in Mexico is going through cancer treatment at the moment. She is going through this life-changing experience with tremendous grace and strength. Today, in a way to support her through this journey, a fundraising photoshoot was held here in Mexico City. While photographers paid to attend today's workshop to work with models, my main goal was to capture this moment in my friend's life, to show her courage, grace and tremendous inner strength as she goes through this emotional and physically difficult time.
